Action Acton is a registered charity which offers a range of services, many publicly funded, to help regenerate Acton. Glenda has worked closely with the team at Action Acton for a number of years to design and deliver a range of services to meet the needs of local small businesses and would be entrepreneurs. These include a variety of start up and small business marketing courses delivered over anything from three hours to five days. Glenda also provides business advice on behalf of Action Acton.
Glenda was responsible for the design and delivery of the market traders' training programme which was a part of the launch of the new Acton market. This programme was featured on BBC London in March 2009. Reporter Paul Curran spent the morning with us and was very complimentary about the quality of the training offered. He was surprised how much was involved in selling from a market stall.
